Every person is exceptional with a personal story. I will always ensure that your funeral service is individual and capture that
uniqueness in the service.

About Me

I am a Scottish based author of academic and self-help books. I am an
Inspirational Speaker, Blogger and Mentor to individuals and organisations on
personal, career and self-development.
I founded MindCircles 20 years ago to provide wellbeing services to help
motivate, empower, support and provide hope and encouragement to
everyone. The aim of my books is to transform your way of thinking.
I have experienced many life challenges but my most traumatic was the loss of
my beloved eldest son to suicide in the summer of his life. I wrote The Weight
of Emptiness: Comfort and Hope for the Loss of a Loved One on my experience
of this loss but also to help others cope with sudden unexpected loss of a loved
one.

I hold University degrees in Music, Law, Psychology and Education but what I value most is my degree from the University of Life. Over the years my readers and clients have told me that my writing and speaking style is engaging, positive, always sensitive and encouraging and that I have a natural affinity for people and am empathetic and compassionate.

After I gave the eulogy at my son’s celebration of life I was asked to do the same for others. I decided then that I would like to be an independent funeral celebrant. I offer services of all faiths or none – religious, non-religious, spiritual, or something in between. Every person is exceptional with a personal story. I will always ensure that your funeral service is individual and capture that uniqueness in the service.
